The GCE series coolers with direct cooling are designed for refrigerated storage rooms for fresh and frozen products. The compact design of the units allows for maximum utilization of the space in the room where they are installed.
The high-efficiency heat exchangers, made of aluminum fins and copper tubes with internal channels, are employed throughout the range. They are designed with a new geometry that significantly reduces the internal volume, consequently minimizing the amount of refrigerant used. This complies with the latest guidelines for reducing the use of high global warming potential (GWP) gases.
Depending on the temperature requirements of the refrigerated chamber, the GCE series is divided into the following modifications:
• GCE G4 E4 F4 A4 for high temperatures (≥ +2°C) with a fin pitch of 4.0 mm.
• GCE G6 E6 F6 A6 for medium temperatures (≥ –15°C) with a fin pitch of 6.0 mm, and it's recommended to use electric defrost (ED) models.
• GCE G8 E8 F8 A8 for low temperatures (≥ –35°C) with a fin pitch of 8.0 mm, equipped with electric defrosting (ED) systems.
All models feature the following characteristics:
• A) 250 mm diameter, with a shielded pole, single-phase power supply 230 V, 50-60 Hz, and a protective grid made of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide.
• B) 315 mm diameter, with an external rotor, single-phase power supply 230 V, 50-60 Hz, an integrated capacitor, and a steel grid with epoxy coating.
• C) 350 mm diameter, with an external rotor, single-phase power supply 230 V, 50-60 Hz, an integrated capacitor, and a steel grid with epoxy coating.
Additional high-efficiency EC fans are available with the following features:
• IP 54 protection rating for 250, 315, and 350 mm diameters.
• Insulation class H for 250 mm diameter and insulation class B for 315 and 350 mm diameters.
• Built-in electronic protection.
• Operating temperature range minimum/maximum: -40/+50°C for 250 mm and -25/+50°C for 315 and 350 mm.
Models with standard electric defrost (ED) are equipped with stainless steel heating elements with rubber-covered terminations for three-phase power supply at 400 V, 50-60 Hz.
The electrical equipment and housing are connected to a grounding clamp, and the wires of the fan motors and heaters are connected to separate junction boxes with an IP 54 protection rating. Models can be additionally equipped with coil evaporators, defrosting systems, and special fan motors upon request.
