The FTE series is used in refrigeration units and cold storage facilities specially designed for storing fruits and vegetables.

These air coolers are equipped with high-efficiency heat exchangers throughout the range. They are constructed with aluminum fins of a special profile that provides a large surface area for heat exchange and copper tubes with internal grooves designed to accommodate most new refrigerants.

With a fin spacing of 7 mm across the entire range and heat exchanger circuits optimized for typical working conditions for storing agricultural products (i.e., chamber temperature of +/- 0°C and low DT levels compared to the evaporation temperature), these units help maintain high humidity levels, which are essential for ensuring the quality of stored products.

The technical and design features are based on industry requirements, including fan motors with airflow directed towards the heat exchanger, reduced height dimensions for optimizing loading limits, and smaller condensate drains.

To facilitate maintenance operations, a new form of condensate collection tank with hinged attachments on both sides has been developed. "Flush-mounting" fastening brackets are used to prevent the accumulation of harmful substances between the unit and the ceiling.

All models are equipped with deflectors that direct the airflow upwards, creating an increase in the airflow thanks to the Coanda effect, where the flow of air follows the contours of the nearest surface. These deflectors also help prevent the direct flow of low-temperature air to the stored products and promote instant air recirculation in the intake area.

Upon request, models can be supplied with non-standard heat exchangers, defrost systems, and fan motors.
